A downloadable Escape for Windows and Linux

"Welcome Home" is a short and simple 2D exploration game with a dark, dreary atmosphere. Walk through the hallways of a 19th century asylum, seeking to uncover the truth as to why you're there. Abandoned, all you have is the straitjacket on your back and a paper trail of notes that lead you closer to your hopeful escape.

This game was created for the GameCraft week-long game jam. It is complete in its current state.

Controls:

Left and Right Arrows = Walk

Up Arrow = Open doors, go to second hall in main area, interact with notes

Down Arrow = Exit a room

Source code is an option if you wanna look, but for a more detailed history, here's the github repo (This would not be included, but I think it well makes up for the failed launch where I uploaded only our source code... Like an idiot): https://github.com/Ilovetoocode/Welcome-home

Wait what. ok, I'm rebuilding ASAP. Don't tell anyone, but  that's the production thing I put on here by accident. It was not a build.

Should be good now, no longer the source code

yes, now it works, thnak you, but i noticed that music stops after some time. Also when you go through that mirror? door? where scary image appears, what to do next? I went to 3 new doors but i can't go further, it's like a loop.

i will not tell anyone🤐
